Our Mission
The Exhibition Alliance, a non-profit organization, strengthens the arts community through the provision of professional exhibition- and collections-related services.
As a non-profit center of expertise, The Exhibition Alliance:
- Connects scholarship and collections with museums across the region through traveling exhibitions.
- Promotes best practices for museums today through its exhibition interpretation, design, and production processes.
- Fosters training and professionalism in the field through training materials from technical briefs to educational videos and DVDs, internship opportunities and continuing education seminars.
- Helps museums and historical societies develop exhibitions that attract and enhance community involvement in our artistic and cultural heritage.
- Helps museums protect their collections by providing location insurance and fine art storage.
TEA is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) arts service organization that exists solely to serve the museum field. We are highly motivated to provide exceptional service at modest cost and provide as much technical assistance as possible.
Our focus is on building the capacity of the organizations we work with through education, providing them with the new skills and knowledge they need to serve their audience more effectively.
