This orientation exhibition provided a quick introduction to revolutionary Roger Tory Peterson, his field guides, and the unique identification system he developed that influenced generations of birders. An audio-visual program simulated the way that the guide would be used in the field, simulating various environments and incorporating low-tech simulations of how to use the visual identification system in the guides.
