Through its history, TEA has helped museums to protect their collections on exhibition, through travel, and in storage conditions. One of our oldest programs is our location insurance program, which is especially helpful to small institutions when they borrow traveling exhibitions or organize short-term temporary projects. More recently, we have shared space in our fine art storage facility with our members on a short-term basis as they plan for facility expansion or renovation or when traveling exhibitions are between venues. We also offer longer-term storage arrangements, offering safe, low-cost climate controlled storage for artifacts museums hold in the public trust.
