Sharing knowledge and skills

TEA is committed to enhancing the field through the creation and distribution of educational materials and professional development opportunities.  With the support of professionals throughout the region, TEA is able to produce a wide variety of educational materials ranging from technical briefs to videos and DVD’s. 

TEA’s latest addition to its educational portfolio is the 2005 “Best Practices in Fine Art Storage, Vol. 1”;  this 2-DVD set presents more than 2 hours of presentations and demonstrations from registrars and conservators at some of New York’s finest exhibiting institutions.

TEA regularly produces Technical Briefs on aspects of museum practice.  These are available for download at no charge from our website.  We also produce a wide variety of publications for sale.  A complete listing, and order form, is available in this section of the site.
